Besides that, Dre also touched on speculation that he recorded a tribute to his son who tragically passed away back in 2008.

While he does admit that he has recorded material in honor of his son, he doesnt know if it will be suitable for ‘Detox’ as the album is set to have an upbeat feel.

”Im actually back and forth about that. Im leaning towards no because i dont know if i want to put myself or my family through that. I kind of want the record to stay fun. Right now as we speak,i’m leaning towards no. Though i do have a couple of things that i’ve done for him”WENN

She didn’t take the stage with Eminem as had been rumored, but Lady Gaga still commanded the spotlight with her presence during Eminem and Jay-Z’s second sold-out concert at Comerica Park in Detroit on Friday (Sept. 3).

Sporting a silver micro-skirt that blew up in the wind and a silver wig similar to the one she recently rocked on her Vanity Fair cover, Gaga threw a diamond in the sky from her elevated platform in the center of the field while watching Jay’s set, rocking out to cuts including “Empire State of Mind” and “U Don’t Know.”

Visible to the fans in attendance but protected by bodyguards, Gaga, who performs tonight at Michigans’s Palace of Auburn Hills, continuously drank from a plastic cup as fans pointed her out. After watching Jay’s set for an hour, the pop star made her exit 20 minutes before its end.

The concert, which was also attended by Lost star Dominic Monaghan, featured the same batch of guest stars as the night prior with the exception of Drake. Friday’s show saw Dr. Dre, 50 Cent and G-Unit, D12, Young Jeezy and Trick Trick help the headliners make history.

Floyd Mayweather Jr has issued an apology for his rant on UStream Thursday (September 2) against Manny Pacquiao.

Floyd received a lot of criticism for some of the language he used when talking about the Filipino boxing champion while discussing their potential blockbuster fight.

Some have suggested that Floyd was being racist when he said Manny would have to bring him “some sushi and rice” and he would cook Pacquiao “with some cats and dogs.”

Before apologizing, Floyd reiterated his belief that he is the best boxer in the world.

“Manny Pacquiao is a good fighter,” Floyd said this morning. “He truly believes that he’s one of the best, but the thing I know is that I am the best. See, he’s one of the best, I am the best, that’s the difference. To all the Manny Pacquiao fans, stand behind him. Even when we meet up and I beat him.”

Floyd took time to send his condolences out to Paquiao’s promoter, Bob Arum, who’s son was found dead Thursday. John Arum fell more than 300 feet while climbing Storm King mountain in Washington.

“I just wanna say God bless to Bob Arum and his whole family because I heard that Bob Arum’s son had a bad accident. It’s all love to the Arum family. I wish you guys nothing but the best,” Mayweather said.

“And I do wanna apologize for what happened the other night. Everyone said they thought it was a racist comment that came from me. I don’t have a racist bone in my body, I love everybody. Some of my guys are Muslims, some of my guys are Jews. Puerto Ricans, Dominicans, Mexicans, white, it doesn’t matter. It’s nothing but love in my heart. If anyone was affected by what I said the other day, I apologize as a man. Forgive me for saying what I said. I was just having fun, I didn’t really mean it…nothing in a bad way. So let’s get on this roller coaster ride and keep riding, it’s all love.”
